Blue Yeti USB connector protector

Blue Yeti USB connector protector

As you can clearly see, my Blue Yeti's mini USB connector has sustained some damage, and I will be replacing it shortly. However, this tiny modification may actually help prevent similar issues on your mic. The way it works is by forcing you to insert the USB cable in a perfectly straight line - a crucial detail that prevents damage caused by angling the cable. This updated design also allows for the Yeti to be easily mounted on a floor stand without obstructing the bottom thread, giving you more flexibility with your setup. Printed using my Prusa mk3s 3D printer and standard PLA material, I set the elephant feet compensation to 0.2 mm, which resulted in a perfectly fitting part that leaves zero room for movement.
