Blue Yeti Pop Filter
thingiverse
This is a do-it-yourself pop filter for your Blue Yeti microphone in either 4" or 6" sizes. It starts with a mounting ring that wraps snugly around your microphone body, designed to fit securely between the volume and pattern knobs for the 4" model or below the lower part of the microphone for the 6" size, although you won't be able to use the standard Yeti mic stand in this case. A locking ring holds the material firmly in place. I'm using silk-screen cloth, but I've also heard that pantyhose nylon and lanai screen work equally well as alternatives. The mount and rings are attached via Go Pro compatible mounts, allowing you to reposition the filter or use the 6" filter with an upper mount placement by utilizing Go Pro arms and elbows. To assemble this DIY pop filter, you'll need an M2 screw and nut to secure the mount, a longer M2 screw and nut (at least 25mm) to secure the material locking ring, and a Go Pro style bolt and M5 cap nut to attach the ring to the mount.
