Blue Yeti Pop Filter
pinshape
This is a do-it-yourself pop filter for your Blue Yeti in either 4-inch or 6-inch sizes. It begins with a mounting ring that wraps snugly around your microphone body. The design ensures the mount fits between the volume/pattern knobs on the 4-inch filter and around the lower part of the microphone for the 6-inch filter, although you won't be able to use the standard Yeti mic stand. A locking ring holds the material firmly in place. I'm using silk-screen cloth, but I've heard that pantyhose nylon and lanai screen also work well. The mount and rings connect via GoPro compatible mounts, allowing you to reposition the filter or use the 6-inch filter with an upper mount placement. You'll need an M2 screw and nut to secure the mount, a longer M2 screw and nut (>=25mm) to secure the material locking ring, and a GoPro-style bolt and M5 cap nut to attach the ring to the mount.
