This robot, named Blue Thunder, features numerous capabilities such as running, jumping, walking, talking, singing, and dancing to Thriller. Its advanced learning ability is facilitated by an evolutionary algorithm that I am currently developing. While not producible via Makerbot, a Rapman should be able to manufacture it. The robot incorporates Fingertech Robotics's high torque servos with metal gears for the standard joints (fingertechrobotics.com), DAGU grippers equipped with provided servos for its hands (letsmakerobots.com), and Dagu's pan/tilt sensor mount for enhanced functionality.
