Blue Snowball Mic Hanging Mount
thingiverse
This is a hanging mount for the Blue Snowball microphone. Considered to be mounted upside down on a shelf or something to free some space on the table where the mic with original stand supposed to stand. Consists of 3 parts: mountable base, rotating mount for mic and nut to fix mic on the base. Threads in the nut & base are quite tight, so consider printing base (or nut) with some horizontal expansion (-0.05 mm in my case) if your printer is not tuned perfectly. It is better to print with PETG or ABS, although PLA also works fine. I have printed with PLA and 30% of infill, however, I would recommend to either print with 100% infill or strengthen the most loaded spots with partial overwriting of infill parameters (setting it to 100% in thread walls). I also recommend using the smallest possible layer thickness, e.g. 0.12 mm on my Ender-3 (at least for the mic stand part, as it contains M15.5x1.0 thread, which is pretty fine and could turn out not well enough). No supports required. This model is set remixed as the thread to the mic stand is taken from the 'Blue Snowball Mic Armature Mount' by Janbro.
