Blue Snowball mic arm hilt w pop filter
thingiverse
This is a simple gadget to attach any Blue Snowball (or other) microphone to a standard "lamp arm" and it also includes a built-in pop filter. The bird, however, is not included. You'll need to glue Arm_long.stl and ring_center.stl together. I've included the part arm_long in iges format, making it easy to adjust using software other than Tinkercad (file: arm_long v8.iges). I printed the parts at 0.2mm resolution, but the threads on center_plate.stl and locknut.stl will be better if you use 0.15 instead. The following parts require support when printing: * ball_joint.stl * ball_joint_attach.stl (rotate this one 90 degrees with the ball facing up) * arm_long.stl Flip locknut.stl 180 degrees, so you won't need any additional support. When printed, we used a sock and pinched it between ring_outer.stl and ring_center.stl to create the pop filter. It works amazingly well. You might want to print multiple ball_joint.stl for more freedom in positioning the pop filter. The pictures were taken without the locknut... Enjoy!
