With this mount, you can easily adapt your Blue Snowball ICE microphone to work seamlessly with a shock mount on any boom arm or mounting system. Simply disassemble the stock stand that comes with the microphone, remove the legs from the stand itself, and screw the bottom back into place. Next, unscrew the stand from the microphone body, and slip the adapter onto it. One end of the adapter is wider, ensuring a snug fit in only one way on the stand. When you screw the stand back into the microphone, it should securely sandwich the adapter, creating a tight seal.
