This realistic model of an exoplanet resembles those gas giants often found orbiting distant stars. Its visible colors are created by gases and substances floating in its atmosphere, similar to our own gas planets like Jupiter or Saturn. Thanks to high-definition textures and low-poly construction, this model can be used as a background or for close-up shots. Technical Details Render-ready models work with both Eevee and Cycles. The subdivision is ready, making it suitable for real-time rendering. Quads only are used for optimal performance. High-definition textures (1920 x 1080) are included for regular model use, while ultra-high-definition textures (16000 x 8000) are provided for close-up shots. A high-dynamic-range background image is also available (8000 x 4000). All textures are original and unique. The model includes albedo, roughness, and displacement maps. In reality, this gas planet would have a diameter of approximately 30,000 kilometers. Some 3D programs struggle to display objects of this size effectively. To avoid complications, the model itself is not scaled to its real-life size, allowing users to decide on the exact diameter. The model consists of a surface and an atmosphere, with the atmosphere creating a subtle fade towards the edges of the planet. It's created using Blender's facing layer weight node. Due to differences in node systems between applications, export files come in two versions: one with and one without the atmosphere.
