Update: 5/16/20: I'm excited to share a new design coming soon, but let me give you a heads up first. This exact version didn't last long-term due to horizontal pressure. To fix this, I printed a second one with a twist - I rotated it 90 degrees so that the wall side is at the bottom, which eliminated the need for supports and made it last longer. The new design has internal chambers to pour resin into, addressing the weak z-axis issue inherent in 3D printing. I needed a wall mount for my Blue Yeticaster Compass boom, but couldn't find anything similar. So, I took matters into my own hands and designed one myself. This project was probably the coolest and most functional part I've ever printed - and it wasn't a spinner, octopus, or printer upgrade! If you have an old laptop HDD lying around, why not repurpose it? Tear it apart and use the HDD platters as metal supports or spin bearings in your print. The top of this design has a hole for a sizable bolt to screw into a stud, while the bottom features a hole for rotational support. A possible future modification could be adding 100% infill to the screw holes, allowing you to really tighten it down. So far, I haven't had any issues with it being too loose or anything.
