HO scale Full 3D printable Passenger Car based upon Rivarossi Blue Comet. Modeled in Blender and printed on Anycubic Photon Mono in Esun Tough resin. Model is split in half to fit in printer, but is easily glued together or welded with resin. or you can fuse 2 of the long parts together if your printer can fit the full length. NOTE: I had to scale up 1000% all parts due to it exporting too small. may fix this in future.The main body shell may fail at the center window crossbar if not supported properly! Also bracing my be needed on chassis to prevent sagging if you dont glue the shell on during assembly. Bogies/dollys are designed to fit this coupling: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3951530 and the wheel axles can be glued together with a small rod or piece of support material, just drill out the hole to the right size. the wheels fit well in the bogies, and work well lubricated with graphite powder, just dont paint the bearing surfaces with paint. or you can use ready made wheels from a supplier. Sanding the edge off the underside of the hole for the pivot peg on the dolly helps it clip in better and move freely, the surfaces between the dolly and the chassis that meet can be lubed with graphite too. minus the tiny pin that holds the coupling hook in, this model is 100% 3D printed. and modeled by me (Minus the coupler).
