When I attempted to locate a hand glider that could be 3D printed as a single piece, I encountered numerous challenges. My small 3D printer, with its limited 120mm x 120mm bed size, made it difficult for me to find a model that fit within this constraint. Scaling down a larger glider and trying to print the wings was not feasible. I eventually decided to design one myself. After creating and testing over 20 prototypes, I successfully developed a hand glider. The Blue Bird has a 100mm wingspan and a wing thickness of 0.3mm. This is still Version 4.2, and I plan to continue updating it.
