Quickie clamshell case for Blu View 5 disposable cell phone. Needed something until my daily phone returns from repair. 2.5d milled from scrap 0.75 in. oak on a CNC router (but could easily be 3D printed). Face and bottom of case could be made much thinner depending on target material. CAD files (exported from SpaceClaim) do NOT include clearances for phone body that were added latter in CAM. Inch units with millimeter STL files. Lightly sanded, coated with poly, and assembled with 4mm fasteners. Top includes protrusion to block front camera which can easily be removed.Update: If you make this paint it black or everyone you know will want you to make one for their phone... Don't buy a View 5 just to use this case - it's a horrible phone with poor audio, signal reception, and camera... There haven't been any thermal issues with either the closed or fluted backs with phone in back pocket at 95 to 100F ambient temperatures.
