BLTouch Mounting Bracket for Sunhokey Prusa i3
thingiverse
This mount is crafted to be robust, ensuring that the BLTouch remains firmly in place even under substantial stress - whether accidental or deliberate. I designed mine using ABS for its superior temperature stability; however, PLA would likely suffice given the cooling airflow from the extruder fan. The holes are precision-drilled to accommodate M3 and M2 self-tapping screws. The M2 holes are strategically located on the underside to secure the BLTouch itself. Two 3mm holes need to be drilled into the Sunhokey Prusa i3's plexiglass, as clearly shown in the accompanying photo. To achieve this, use the printed bracket as a template and drill pilot holes at 2.5mm for the self-tapping screws. Then simply enlarge these to 3mm. The included CAD file is a Fusion 360 Archive file, which can be uploaded to your F360 cloud account for convenient editing. Please note that this file is governed by the CCA license.
