BLTouch Mounting Bracket for Geeetech Pro B / C
thingiverse
I removed files for the slider requiring gluing and created a narrower slider and socket to allow the sensor to move closer to the nozzle, modifying the extruder bracket 2 (renamed as 3) to position the smaller slider closer to the nozzle. I still have no plans to get it working. I added another slider with attached sensor mounting bracket, moving the sensor behind the dovetail and closest to the nozzle of all choices. As before, I didn't print it. Please let me know if it works well or not at all. This assembly allows you to attach a BLTouch or similar sensor to the X carriage of a Geeetech Pro B or C, or any other variation using the single stepper metal bracket on the Pro series. The mount is adjustable in height, so you should be able to adapt it to any hotend and easily adjust the height if you change hotends with different nozzle sizes. I haven't used it yet and I'm not sure when/if I am going to get the auto level working since things are really stable and easy to adjust as it is currently set up. The mount is designed to work with the Cooling Fan and Work Light installed on my machine, but it may not be ideal on your machine. It requires both X and Y offsets to be defined. There are two variations of the bracket that mounts on the X carriage bracket, the latest addition being narrower and moving the sensor a few mm closer to the bracket. For information about connecting a BL Touch or clone to the GT260 control board in the Geeetech I3 Pro series (and others), see the User Manual for the Geeetech 3D Touch sensor on the product page at www.Geeetech.com. There are a couple height gauges that may be worthwhile for setting the dovetail slider.
