A Custom BLTOUCH Mount for My K8200 Printer Enabling Auto Bed Leveling Feature The mount is designed specifically for my June 2017 Smart version of the BLTOUCH sensor and my E3D v6 hotend, ensuring a stable and accurate auto bed leveling feature. The distance between the BLTOUCH probe and the hotend is precisely set at 16mm (minimum 15mm), guaranteeing optimal performance. Initially, I designed a mount that was too far from the hotend, but after testing, I revised it to improve stability and sanded down the height to exactly 11.3 mm, eliminating the need for springs that came with the BLTOUCH sensor. The probe offset is now set at 29mm to the right and 8mm to the front of the hotend. You can find my customized K8200 Marlin 1.1.4 mod on GitHub: https://github.com/nidayand/k8200-marlin To calibrate the BLTOUCH mount, follow these steps: 1. Ensure the hotend is heated to account for possible metal expansion in calculations. 2. Then, perform the following commands: M851 Z0 - Reset the offset value M500 - Save G28 - Home all axes M114 - Note the Z height (which may not be 0) and assign it as {H1} G92 Z10 - Trick the printer to move below Z0 for calibration G1 X100 Y100 - Move to the center of the bed where the probe was (in my case, X100 Y100 due to a 200mm bed) Lower the Z axis until it reaches the appropriate height from the bed M114 - Get the current position of Z and call it {H2} Subtract distance 10 - {H1} - {H2}. This will give you the offset value, for example, -0.85. M851 Z-0.85 - Define the offset in EEPROM M500 - Save Verify... (G28, G1 Z0, measure)
