BLTouch for LulzBot Taz 6 with ITWORKS3D extruder
thingiverse
Users of the LulzBot Taz 6 printer often become frustrated with its autolevel function. It demands a completely clean nozzle in order to make electrical contact with the pads at the corners of the bed. However, even additional cleaning sometimes fails to deliver this result. The BLTouch is an alternative method for leveling the bed accurately. Using the bracket provided here, it attaches securely to the carriage of the printer. The height of the plunger can be precisely adjusted using the two cap screws. A video demonstrating the unit in action is available online at https://youtu.be/xx_Ge_LO5CE.
