BLTouch Alignment Tools for adjustable brackets
thingiverse
These alignment tools are for if you have and adjustable bracket for your BLTouch. Being new to using a BLTouch I found it hard to adjust after installing and even worse if I was making adjustments to my printer. I needed a way to make reinstallation consistent since I'm constantly tinkering with my printer for that ever elusive perfect print. These will help with setting the distance between the BLTouch body (not the probe) and the hot end nozzle. Make sure that the Hot End is cold when using these tools. Put the tool on the bed under the hot end and align the hole with the BLTouch probe. Move the Hot End down with the probe inserting in to the hole and the nozzle resting on the lower flat part. Adjust the BLTouch until the body rests on the upper flat, then tighten. After adjustment calibrate and set your Z-Offset. Note which tool was used and always use that tool when reinstalling your BLTouch to keep setting consistent. The numbers printed on each one is the mm difference between the nozzle and the body of the BLTouch.
