Blowpipe laser sight mount
thingiverse
I picked up an aluminum pipe with a 16mm inner diameter for tossing paper darts. To improve my accuracy, I snagged a budget-friendly laser sight from China and designed a mount using OpenSCAD. Calibrating the system is straightforward: simply gaze through the tube at the target distance and adjust the laser's screws until the red dot centers itself within the tube. The laser guidance system performs impressively well; I recently eliminated a wasp from 5m, much to my surprise, as I'm not in the habit of dispatching insects. Since the design is based on OpenSCAD, it's effortless to modify parameters if needed. I highly recommend printing with PETG if your printer allows it, as this material offers exceptional strength and flexibility.
