Blown Up Tetrahedron

Blown Up Tetrahedron

thingiverse

This is a full-scale rendition of a tetrahedron, as if you blew air into a triangular based pyramid shape. It is the intersection point where four spheres converge at equal distances around their center point.\n\n\n \n\nThe model was created using Tinkercad (obviously not the preferred tool for mathematical designs!). To generate this object, I first designed a tetrahedral framework using the angle function (all three axes differed by 120 degrees). Then, I had to gauge an identical distance along each axis to position the sphere accurately. Despite Tinkercad's only subtraction feature causing additional trouble with even intersections, I successfully managed to refine and finalize the file.
