Blower Fan
thingiverse
This is an extremely powerful blower fan that utilizes a robust 2820 35mm outside diameter Sunnysky Brushless motor. Hardware you will need: • 4 M3x12 • 8 M3x6 • 4 M3 Washers • 8 M3 Nuts No bearings are required. Be sure to place the nuts in the fan housing before installing anything else. To assemble, attach the blades to the motor first, then install the motor into the body and secure the motor mount to the motor followed by the body. The impeller is mounted directly to the motor via a 6mm prop adaptor that comes with the motor. A 3S 5000 mah lipo battery was used, but any compatible battery should work. The ESC employed was the 60 amp Sunnysky Eolo. A .pdf file containing the dimensions for the motor mount is included in the Thing files section for those who wish to design a custom mount for a slightly smaller motor. Keep in mind that this design has not been tested with a smaller motor, and there are no guarantees it will function as intended. During testing at full throttle, the blower fan drew 22 amps, leaving a substantial margin of safety under the motor's 56 amp rating, ensuring it is not overloaded.
