Blower Fan Mount and Example
thingiverse
Because of space limitations, mounting a fan to my Reach3D printer proved to be quite the challenge. Thanks to a suggestion from a friend, I decided to add a blower using a small section of 1/4" flexible tubing that blows directly on the part. The blower mount doesn't print as cleanly as I would like, but it gets the job done. A hole is provided for a 1/4 NPT barbed fitting - be aware that it will need to be drilled out slightly to fit the barbed fitting properly. Overall, I'm pleased with how it turned out, and I may consider adding a T in the future to blow from both sides of the hotend. If you spot anything wrong or have any suggestions for improvement, please let me know - thanks for taking a look.
