Blower Fan holder for 2040 extrusion
thingiverse
Since Ender3 electronics fans are tied to the part cooling fan, this is an attachment that blows air into the electronics compartment to cool down drivers using a blower fan. This requires M5 T-nuts and bolts to secure it in place. I used a 12V blower fan, so I added leads directly to the PSU for it to work. With my previous version, I used 35% infill, but broke the top portion while trying to drill out holes. It still works, but I made the holes larger to fit M5 T-nut & bolt. For the lower hole, I used a M3 nut adapter instead of a T-nut. You can use either one. You might want to consider using a blower fan cover to prevent plastic from falling into the blower fan. I uploaded the openscad file so that you can make this design better and share it back with the community.
