Blow Mold LED Conversion Kit

Convert blow mold decoration lights to LED strips. Designed to daisy chain larger decorations using removable cables by plugging them directly into an extra spot on the plate for bigger decorations. Smaller decorations are connected using non-removable cables plugged into a separate connector on the plate. All models were designed in OpenScad and source files are included for easy access. Print Settings: Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No supports were used. Supports: Yes, they were added to ensure stability. Resolution: .20mm layers were printed. Infill: 10% was the standard fill ratio used. Notes: Light plate is a two-part print that requires supports for the tab. The light plate flat also needs supports for its tab. The light clip requires support and can be tricky to print, so brim and help disks under the supports are recommended to keep them anchored better. All models were printed in PETG with .20mm layers; Plate part 1 used 10% fill, 4 top, 3 bottom layers. Clips and plate part 2 had 9999 bottom layers making it solid. Required Supplies: • LED light strip - a 5630 daylight was used for most models, while a warm white was used for brown models. • DC power socket with female mount connector (three for each plate). • Male to male DC power cables/extensions (50cm or longer suggested) to connect between the plates/larger decorations. Those with yellow ends work better. • Male DC Power cable with connector on one side and pigtails on the other, attached to spring clips for smaller decorations or the flat plate. This plugs into an extra connector on light plates, bigger decorations (75cm or longer suggested).
