So I fell head over heels for this artwork by KohLJ https://kheljay.artstation.com/projects/DnOKe And started crafting a printable figure for tabletop. He stands on a 50mm diameter base, and the character should be scaled for 28mm gaming (he's tall - approximately 48mm) but he's one-of-a-kind. I began in October, and built it with bits from here and there, from many characters' 3D models that I cut, remixed, and resculpted. Some parts were completely created from scratch (lance, shoulder pads, pelt robes, crown, armor details...). I want to thank all of you guys from the 40k makers Discord for your support; special shout-out to Valandar for the flame sculpting tips. The wings from xiaoxunyue2016 are just incredible and fit perfectly for this magnificent boy. I just had to create the missing parts that were cut out. Once again, I did all of the work in Meshmixer. I learned many techniques along the way, so everything isn't perfect but it's a free model. I probably forgot to give credit to some source models, but there are so many different ones I can't remember. I printed a prototype in FDM (0.25mm nozzle and 0.08mm layers), and it works; wings are printing at the moment...
