The steering wheel ensures optimal control during high-stress record attempts. Handles, featuring ergonomic fingerprints, need a firm grip while buttons are easily accessible without removing hands. Positioning indicates status; stopped, buttons align with the upper panel except for ignition 1, engine running aligns all with the upper surface, acceleration is triggered by the right forefinger, and a torsion spring returns it to neutral. The command can be duplicated on the left. Shutdown starts with engine off by clicking 1, airbrake On using right thumb's position, chute 1 On with the left thumb, and chute 2 On with the left hand. All buttons align with the inferior panel post-shutdown. Logic control prevents errors like opening parachutes with the engine running. Handles are carbon fiber coated in soft rubber, resembling ski pole handles for a firm grip. Adjustable distance and inclination ensure optimal size, and locking screws enable individual rotation or movement. A small airbag is placed in the middle to prevent impact with the steering column. A flow chart illustrates this process.
