Human: A simple model demonstrates the antigen-antibody response between blood groups of the AB0 system. Antibodies from plasma of blood group B can cause cross-linking of erythrocytes from blood group A. Antibodies from plasma of blood group A can cause cross-linking of erythrocytes from blood group B. Blood group AB has no antibodies, but contains both antigens in the plasma. Blood group 0 contains both antibodies A and B, but has no antigens in the plasma. This model can be used to recreate what happens when incompatible blood groups are mixed in an antigen-antibody reaction. A simple Blood Group Model An easy-to-use model shows how the Antigen-Antibody Reaction works between different Blood Groups of the AB0 System.
