Blood Demon

Blood Demon

Warhammer-inspired sculpting continues! This time, a Bloodletter-type model has been crafted, featuring a spear that adds an intimidating touch. After slicing with Simplify 3.1.1, the design checked out okay. It looks nasty enough to command respect, so if you have access to a SLA/DLP machine, give it a try! If FFF is your preferred printing method, be sure to print big and use a nozzle size of 0.4 or smaller. Skulls for the skull throne are the ultimate goal. Here's what worked: Print Settings Printer: 3DGence ONE Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15, 0.1 would be nice Infill: 15-20% Notes: Three perimeters are a must for quality's sake. Lots of attention and care should be taken while removing supports. Dense support layers will help ensure a successful print. Design Process Scultpris and Blender were the tools used to bring this design to life. Sculpting, boolean operations, and more sculpting followed. The challenge lies in exporting sculptures without sacrificing detail or creating massive files. Up to 200MB is acceptable, but beyond that, it becomes impractical.
