Blood Antibody exercise
thingiverse
These manipulatives are designed to assist students in comprehending A/B blood typing and antigen/antibody pairings. Many students struggle with these concepts, mainly due to the complexities of related terminology. Presenting them with a tangible example of "Anti-A" will allow them to grasp that it doesn't equate to "B." While perfectly suitable for tabletop use as is, these manipulatives can be adapted by inserting magnets at designated points for usage on a magnetic whiteboard, or combined into one unit if desired for non-flat surface learning. Ideally, magnet sizes of 5mm x 3 mm and 4 mm x 2mm are recommended.
