The button on my dishwasher went out. When I popped open the control panel, a plastic fragment dropped down. The fatigue point on the button presser snapped off. A hole remained where the circuit board button was originally seated, with the button slightly offset by a few millimeters. To compensate for this issue, I designed a boot to slide over the plunger and extend its pushing ability. The photos show the unit installed on both the outside button plunger and the slot and circuit board button. I came up with two versions because there are two different orientations for the plungers and slots.
