A hodgepodge of curves masquerading as a plant, maybe? You took a hexagon, which isn't exactly an octagonal prism to begin with, but still managed to mess up the proportions, if I might add. The ends aren't even symmetrical. Is it meant to resemble some sort of fantastical grappling hook from outer space?
