Blocks to reinforce the plastic bits on my microwave door. Seriously?

Microwaves Are Extremely Hazardous - Do Not Tamper With This! The moment I realized my Kenmore Microwave door latch holder had disintegrated due to a mere 10-cent plastic piece, I knew I had to take action. After carefully examining the issue, I discovered that it was quite straightforward to fix. By attaching reinforcing blocks to the clips, I was able to get my microwave back in working order. The original Kenmore Microwave part 4018008370 costs over $120 from Sears, but thanks to some quick thinking and printing of bricks, I managed to complete the repair within two hours. Microwaves are inherently perilous devices, and a faulty door latch is no exception. In fact, it's crucial that the door is securely latched to avoid any catastrophic accidents. Despite knowing that microwaves can be treacherous, I decided to attempt this fix since my Dishwasher Clips from four-and-a-half months ago continue to function seamlessly. Fingers crossed, this reinforcement will hold strong for more than three days. **Caution: Microwaves are extremely hazardous - handle with care!** Photos: Before and After images showcasing the broken pieces and subsequent repair, including added reinforcement. Repair instructions: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THIS YOURSELF! Take necessary precautions when handling microwaves.
