After buying an Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D printer one of my first projects as a blocks enthusiast was to super-size a blocks model. This was inspired by Matt Denton's super-sized creations. I wasn't just as keen as Matt so went for x3.5 scale (350%). This was by limitation of the largest piece and the Enders 235x235 bed.I picked this model as it has some of the fewest parts of the blocks range. It has 66 parts and two models can be built from the same parts.Everything but the tyres was printed with Eryone 1.75 PLA. Fantastic to work with using the following parameters; 200-210 degrees hot-end, 60 degrees bed, 0.30mm initial layer, 0.20mm regular layer height, 50mm/s with initial layer 25mm/s. 15-20% infill Some parts need tree supports. Tyres were printed in Eryone black TPU at 230 degrees, bed OFF, 15mm/s, retraction OFF. I switched to direct drive for the TPU but reports suggest it will print fine with bowden tube. You will need some small M3x16mm socket head cap screws + nuts + washers to join the pins together. Super-glue will also be needed to join some of the parts that needed printed in more than one piece (marked with A, B in the filename).Build instructions can easily be found online searching for 8418 mini digger. Not a quick print, roughly 240 printing hours all in but definitely worth it. Everything works as it should and feels robust enough to be played with. Both Solidworks 2014 and STLs are provided.Enjoy and please give a thumbs up if you download.
