A small cam on the shaft also locks and assists with retention. The washer blocking the shaft's head is replaceable if material deteriorates over time. The mechanical system protects the rotating shaft from bending by replicating the pipe section's shape, directing forces against the metal pipe and preventing bending. Care is taken to counterbalance forces and not rely solely on materials. All components are designed for durability and safe usage throughout the product's life.
