In the February 1987 issue of "Wood Magazine," a scrollsaw project is presented, using a wooden cube made from multiple wood layers. It was designed with Solidworks 2016 software and rendered using Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. The video frames were edited in Virtualdub, saved as AVI/X264 and BMP formats. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format. Gifs were made with PhotoScape, while IrfanView was utilized for rendering edits. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files contain animations. The ZIM file can be viewed on IOS and Android devices using the free Simlab Viewer app when accessed through the respective operating systems. The model is available in various formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS and ZIM.
