I was thrilled to discover a version of Bruce Matthews block plane rendered into an STL by Simonarri. I dislike metal screwing into plastic, so I modified the body of his plane to feature a slot that accommodates a standard M3 nut. Next, an M3 bolt securely holds the entire assembly in place. To facilitate this, you may need to enlarge the hole in the body and cap it with an X-Acto to allow easy passage for an M3 bolt.
