Block Dice

Block Dice

I wanted some custom colored dice for my Bloodbowl team, so I made these to use as masters for casting. In making these, I wanted something unique and easier to read from a distance than the current Games Workshop range. All the art is new. The block icon to me looked like a crowned skull, hence the name Skullcrown. There are two files attached, both with the same outside dimensions (16mm square) but one has an internal spherical void. I hoped to save some resin on each print but it never cleared the surface of the resin pool properly to empty. The first few prints in clear resin now have bubbles visible moving in their centers - fine for use as casting masters, but not good for actual play and possibly no good for long-term storage. The dice cast from these will be transparent and won't have this issue. A small effort was made to balance the different sides using the relative depths of the icon cutouts. Fusion 360's center of mass feature was used to ensure that the dice's center of mass is close to the geometric center, not that this has dissuaded Nuffle from ensuring they roll skulls when skulls are least desired. These are presented at the Bloodbowl Standard 16mm size. To print at 12mm scale, use 75%, for 20mm chonkers scale, use 125%.
