Block build plate
grabcad
This build plate is approximately 10x10in [250x250mm] and based on the well known product which can be printed for a fraction of the cost. The peg dimensions seem to be dependent on the extrusion temperature so I printed a small section first to determine fit which for me was PLA 198C and 50C.Concerning printing: Default settings in my slicer offered a 13hr print time. I was able to print in 8hrs by increasing the print speed to 150mm, reducing the accelerations to 50% and running 100% infill.Update: I have a 7hr print by printing two layers each top and bottom, 25% lines infill, six lines of wall on .3mm layers. What this does is print the big square in two skins with alternating 25% inside lines. The bumps are all printed solid (six lines of wall) which is much faster than infilling the bumps. My magic temps are still 198C / 50C PLA for a solid snap fit to building bricks.
