A colleague left a tiny version of this puzzle on my workstation. I examined it and thought, with only 7 pieces, this should be a piece of cake. Nevertheless, I soon discovered the puzzle extremely challenging due to the multitude of possible incorrect solutions and the sequence of operations required during assembly. Anyway, his version was quite delicate because of its size, so I decided to scale it up.
