BlinkyBelt Buckle

BlinkyBelt Buckle

For my daughter, I purchased an Adafruit Blinky Belt kit which was easy to assemble and offers bright visibility. However, it lacked enclosure for circuitry and wiring. To resolve this issue, I plan to create a more solid case. The follow-on version in my mind involves printing the bottom, end, and buckle parts, cutting support material from the end cap, and attaching it using zip-ties. Additionally, I will print and assemble a parameterized battery pack with contacts, solder the switch and power wires to the brain, zip tie the wired end of the belt base, plug the wire into the brain, press switches and battery pack into place, align holes on buckle with the belt and switches, insert belt end into box, and finally close the buckle. Once completed, simply turn on the switch for a blinking belt!
