This casing is designed to give you the ability to fit two 5015 blower fans in a more aesthetic package, fit tighter to your extrusion carriage. The two fan sit at 90 degree angels from one another without the mounting holes being offset and ruining the aesthetic of the machine. The casings have been originally desinged to be doweled together and mounted utilizing glue-on brackets from the side profile for one of my personal projects but I will add other mounting solutions and options upon request if there is a demand. To build your fans, you will need to separated the two case halves of the original fans and then trim away all but a 15-20mm circle of the plastic where the fan mounts as shown in pictures. There is an alignment dowel built into the back casing STL to center the fan into this recession which fits into the bearing hole. Excess superglue can ruin the bearing. I put a small drop of Super Lube into the bearing before gluing the protect it from the glue and prolong bearing life. If you are using the fans in the same configuration which I did, the two dowels holding the case halves together should be glued into the backing of one of the fans before the actual fan body is glued in. I put the stickers back onto the back of the fans and dabbed glue on them before sandwiching the fans together so that they can still be separated in case I need to replace one.
