Blink Outdoor Cam / XT2 Nest Box Shelf

This was a quick and dirty one-off design for a nest box camera shelf. We've got a few nest boxes we've been using for bluebirds around our yard, and we wanted to get a good look at the nest-building process, egg laying, etc. So we picked up a few Blink XT2 cameras and a sync module dirt cheap, and I went about designing this shelf in Fusion 360. The nest boxes we use have a nesting area that's 4 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches deep, so you'll need to adjust if your boxes have different dimensions. There are three screw holes for stability, designed to use countersunk screws with a maximum head diameter of 6mm, though this isn't terribly important. Just make sure the screws aren't so long that they protrude on the outside of the box. 1/2" or 5-6mm is a decent length. The camera faces directly downward, and we fastened ours in place using Velcro strips to make removal for battery replacement a little easier.
