BlindSlided - Foiresoft Custom Zebra Roller Blind Modification

<p>The Foiresoft Zebra Roller blinds fit well against our old windows. &nbsp;When we replaced the windows this year the bracket keeps the blinds too far away from the window. &nbsp;It was letting a light in around them.</p><p>I created this adapter called BlindSlided…I thought it was funny…</p><p>Slide into the existing slots of Foiresoft's bracket and blind clip when parallel with them, then twist it to lock it in using the rounded hold at the top.</p><p>The top notch with the rounded head is for the thicker top bracket that attaches to the wall. &nbsp;The lower notch is for the clip that holds the blind. &nbsp;Once installed you can push the blind closer to the window or pull it further away. &nbsp;Whichever suits your mood.</p><p>As a bonus it allows better access for dusting! &nbsp;Who doesn't love dusting?</p><p><i>Bracket adjustment (optional):</i></p><p><i>There is a metal tab that you normally hang the blind clip on. &nbsp;You can bend it flat. &nbsp;BlindSlided works without doing this, but it was easier for me to adjust without the pressure of their metal tab pushing down on the blind clip.</i></p><p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p><p>BlindSlided is a <i>“do it yourself”</i> free file with no guarantee or warranty implied. &nbsp;Follow the manufacturers installation instructions. &nbsp;This is a modification after you've installed them according to the manufacturer's installation guide. &nbsp;<i>Any modification to a product may void the manufacturer's warranty. &nbsp;Please verify before modification if that's important to you.</i></p><p>I don't care. &nbsp;I void warranties regularly. ;)</p><p>Material: PETG (Nylon would probably work really well. &nbsp;I don't have any to test with…sad)</p><p>print flat, no supports</p><p>.2 layer height</p><p>4 shells</p><p>75% infill</p>
