BLF Q8 Flashlight Pocket Clip
thingiverse
My BLF Q8 flashlight is an absolute lifesaver, but I've noticed one major drawback: it lacks a clip to hang from my pocket when I'm carrying heavy loads or prefer a more convenient way to carry it. Fortunately, the Q8 has a 1/4"x24 'tripod' screw mount that allows me to attach a clip, which is a game-changer for daily use. However, be aware that the hole isn't very deep, so make sure to choose a screw no longer than 1/4" in length to avoid any issues. I designed the countersink and front screw hole with the Fastenere #8421761 screw in mind, taking into account its specific dimensions to ensure a seamless fit. After printing it out using PETG, I was impressed by its strength and flexibility – it's definitely worth considering for future projects. If you're interested in remixing this design to suit your needs, I've attached the Fusion 360 archive file so you can get creative and make it your own.
