Bleuette hexapod
thingiverse
Bleuette is an open-source, open-hardware hexapod robot that operates using Arduino controls. It is designed using OpenScad and printed with PLA material; some parts are made from ABS. All components can be found on GitHub (https://github.com/hugokernel/Bleuette). The first walk of Bleuette was captured in a video (https://vimeo.com/58307246), and it is driven by RaspberryPi as demonstrated in this YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7C_EJtj_3M). Due to its large body, the robot was cut into three parts using a dovetail parametric generator (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27466). The servo arm utilizes this library (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:28566), while instructions for making the body can be found on GitHub's wiki (https://github.com/hugokernel/Bleuette/wiki/Make-the-body), and the legs are detailed in a separate wiki section (https://github.com/hugokernel/Bleuette/wiki/Make-the-legs).
