Blender v2.0
thingiverse
In my second revision, I succeeded in creating a shape resembling a blender after spending numerous hours attempting various manifestations. My initial version lacked a lofted base and an un-lofted section of the hopper, giving it a more realistic appearance. This miniature model was made as part of an inside joke among friends and serves no functional purpose except as a paperweight. I plan to enhance the design by adding features such as a handle and more realistic buttons in future revisions. To print your own blender model, download the .stl file and open it with ReplicatorG. Resize it if necessary, ensuring that the model sits on its base. Generate G-code for 3D printing. Turn on your MakerBot Thing-o-matic (with heated base platform) and ensure the desired ABS plastic filament color is loaded. Connect to the printer and print the model. Monitor the duration of the printing process, then let it cool before removing any excess plastic. Enjoy your new paperweight!
