Blender 2.59 add-on to import and render 5D GCODE
thingiverse
I adapted zignig's original script for use with the newest Blender version (2.59) and integrated support for advanced 5D GCODE, which is specifically designed for contemporary stepper extruders that utilize an E parameter and do not require tool-off commands. You can find the updated code at its GitHub repository: https://github.com/alexrj/blender-gcode-reader. The featured object in the images was sliced using Slic3r, an open-source slicing software available at http://slic3r.org. A recent update (2012-05-04) saw further enhancements from contributor ceterumnet.
