Blendenring / Blend Ring Skywatcher 250PDS

This thing is a blend ring to get better stars through the Skywatcher 250PDS. To get a full blend ring, you have to print this part 3 times with support because the parts are overlapping each other. After printing the three parts you must free them cleanly from the support. I glued the parts together with second glue and let the blend ring dry. Now you can paint the ring with a primer and after that paint it with the mattest black colour you ever find to avoid reflections. NOTE for the following instruction: Never (!) touch the mirror from your telescope! Later, when the colour is completely dry, mark the place from the mirror-holder with a sticker (for remount), dismount the mirror and unscrew the holders and place the blend ring around the mirror holder. The order is: (Top) Screws Sheetmetal Blend ring (Bottom)Rubber Be careful to not scratch or touch the mirror. Important: After tighten the screws very lightly on, the rubbers must be easy moveable in order to not bend the mirror. That's it. Remount the mirror cell in the place you have marked before and collimate the main mirror. From now on you will get better stars.
