The HAMMER 2400mm by Blejzyk is a wonderful glider. Even though the kit is 85% pre-built, it needs some work which can become quite a dwell of errors. Joining the wings is always a difficult step. Any mistake at this point can ruin the model very quickly. The building manual suggests to sand 2 blocks of wood following the shape of the wing, and letting them slip into the wing hull glued with epoxy. Building a counter part from a plywood plate which has to be glued to the inside of the fuselage is dedicated to be holding the counter nuts for the wing screws. Last step is drilling a hole through the wing right into the fuselage. I was afraid ruining the wings by drilling a whole at the wrong position or with a wrong angle. I've designed some wing joiners for the HAMMER©. The wing joiners can be glued into the wings easily, already providing the screw and bolt drill holes with the proper angle. The counter plates are designed to be holding the provided drive-in nuts which are coming with the kit at the correct angle. The frontal counter plate is also designed to be holding two MPX-Connectors© in order to easily connect the wing servos with the receiver. The 1.5 degrees v-shape angle of the wings will be assured by this part. It also makes it easier to maintain the proper wing-angle once gluing in the wing bolts. I have printed this part on my Prusa-Mini© using PLA. One wing cap has a weight of 40gr. with my printer settings, compared to 20gr. of the wooden blocks which are coming with the kit. I bet you can make it much lighter. The servo bays of the wings are already cut in the shape of 51mm cylinders. The suggested KST-DS135MG has to be placed into those bays. I've designed a frame which can be glued into the servo bays easily by using the provided adjusting handle and some epoxy.
