<p>Bleach Bottle Cap Opener</p> <p>This works with some UK 750ml bleach bottles.</p> <p>Here in the UK, Bleach bottles have a childproof cap that has to be firmly squeezed whilst turning it.</p> <p>The issue is that it can be hard to squeeze to cap firmly enough whilst unscrewing it, particularly for the elderly or those with arthritis etc.</p> <p>I designed this thing to make it easier to press-in the sides of the cap and simultaneously unscrew it.</p> <p>So far, I have only tried it with products that have the following cap specification:</p> <p>A 34mm diameter dome-shaped top part of the cap and below it a wider 43mm diameter section with two slots either side to allow the cap to be squeezed open.</p> <p>(see photo).</p> <p>The opener is designed to fit over the dome top section and fit into the two slots.</p> <p>This locates the opener in the best position for squeezing the correct part of the lower section and helps to lock it in place while turning it open.</p> <p>I have tried it with the following two products:</p> <p>ASDA Thick Bleach (750ml)</p> <p>Easy Seriously Thick bleach (750ml).</p> <p>At the time of writing (March 2022) It looks like it may work with these similar looking products as they appear to use the same design:</p> <p>Parazone Bleach</p> <p>Morrisons Thick bleach?</p> <p>Wilko Bleach</p> <p>Aldi Power force bleach</p> <p>LIDL W5 bleach</p> <p>Waitrose Essential bleach</p> <p>It probably won't work with those products below as they appear to have a different design cap:</p> <p>Domestos bleach.</p> <p>Tesco bleach</p> <p>I have made a few prototypes using PLA with between 10 and 20% infill and 0.28 to 0.2mm resolution and both seem to work ok.</p> <p>It doesn't need any printing supports.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Creality</p> <p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>Ender 3 Pro</p></div> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>20</p></div> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> any PLA any</p> </p></p></p> Category: Household
