This stone shield featuring an eagle grasping it lies in a state of severe disrepair. The Blasón incorporates the Imperial Eagle and Collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, representing Charles I of Spain also known as Emperor Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire (1540-1558). It is situated between the Parish Church of La Encarnación in Alhama de Granada and the Old Jail of Alhama.
